Raw Butter for Weight Loss and Excellent Health
Butter has gotten a bad rap in the media for being high in cholesterol, but we have not been educated on the fact that natural cholesterol is essential for maintaining intestinal health, for development and detoxification of the brain and nervous system, and for overall bodily function.
Now that we have largely omitted butter from our diets in favor of low fat and fake fat foods, we are lacking the vitamins, minerals and fatty acids in butter which have been protecting us against heart disease, cancer, arthritis, osteoporosis, thyroid health, digestion and weight gain. It’s no wonder that we are so profoundly plagued with these illnesses.
In addition to the omission of this naturally healthy food, many of us are substituting it with margarine or other manufactured spreads. These products contain toxic cancer-inducing solvents, dangerous trans fat, free radicals, bleach, artificial colors and flavors and/or synthetic vitamins.
When we are healthy, maintaining healthy weight is easy and joyful. By substituting wholesome butter for unhealthy food in an attempt to lose weight, we hinder our own progress. Specifically, the toxic substances in margarine or other low calorie or reduced fat spreads actually cause us to gain weight because our bodies are being inundated with substances that are difficult to eliminate.
Moreover, when we eat real butter, we feel satisfied and we are not left with a feeling of deprivation. The feeling of wanting more causes our bodies to hold on to unwanted weight or makes it hard work to lose weight and keep it off.
While butter in any form is much healthier than any margarine or other manufactured spread, butter is best when it is unpasteurized and from animals that graze on green grass.
Pasteurized (cooked) butter contains irritants in the form of dead bacteria and digestive enzymes which are no longer active - both of which benefit the body when not killed. Raw butter also contains fatty acids which support a healthy immune system, boost metabolism and are anti-microbial, while heated fats often become trapped in the body and store as cellulite.
Butter from grass-fed cows also contains both Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) and the perfect balance of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fatty acid ratio, which are protective against disease and assist the body to build muscle and burn unnecessary body fat.
Supermarket butter is pasteurized and from factory farms where the cows are fed grain and/or corn. If it does not say 100% grass-fed on the label, it’s most likely grain or corn fed. Also, toxic chemicals to which animals are exposed are more concentrated in the fat. For that reason it is important to avoid products from animals treated with antibiotics or hormones.
Here is how the purchase the best butter available to you from most healthful to least healthful:
- Raw (unpasteurized) butter from grass-fed animals – raised without antibiotics or hormones
- Raw (unpasteurized) butter from grain/corn fed animals – raised without antibiotics or hormones
- Raw (unpasteurized) butter from grass-fed animals – raised with antibiotics and/or hormones
- Raw (unpasteurized) butter from grain/corn fed animals raised with antibiotics and/or hormones

- Pasteurized butted from grain/corn fed animals raised without antibiotics and/or hormones
- Pasteurized butter from grass-fed animals raised with antibiotics and/or hormones

It’s never recommended under any circumstance to use margarine or artificial spread for the reasons stated above.
Trust
Put your perspective out there. Let the universe know what you want, and it will deliver!
The universe always delivers the vibratory match to our predominant expectations. Trust is synonymous with Knowledge. Whenever anyone knows something is possible, it becomes possible.
When we know that something is ours, we can expect to receive the guidance necessary to manifest it. Specifically, from the vantage point of knowledge, we send out a powerful vibratory pattern which is answered by the universe, and we become more receptive to the cues and clues that direct us toward that which we have chosen.
Once your request has been made, know that the answer has already been given. Instead of struggling for worldly intelligence, trust that all necessary information will come to you, and be prepared to recognize and act upon it.
Moreover, by paying attention to our thoughts and consciously reaching for trust around any subject, we promote peace of mind. Indeed, mental shadows presented as Stress, Anxiety, Depression and Anger can only fade away when we allow the light of Trust to illuminate the recesses of mind in which they dwell.
When negative emotion occupies less of our time, more of our mental and creative energy is directed toward our awareness of, and action upon, the answers we are receiving.
Trust! And let it be so.
Managing Opportunity
Opportunity is presented through adversity around anything from personal finances, health or relationships to global conflict or government. Life tends to present obstacles as opportunities for expansion. Whether we use those opportunities as stepping stones, or as anchors is entirely up to us.
Many of us tend to define ourselves by the adversity we are currently experiencing. When we do not consciously recognize adversity as opportunity, our subconscious thought patterns keep us entrenched in the emotion evoked by the experience of the adversity itself.
Missed Opportunities:
When we focus on adversity, it evokes negative emotion. That emotion sends out a vibratory pattern which speaks to every cell in our bodies and emanates out into the universe. In this way, every emotion sends out a request for more of the experience that evokes it.
Opportunities for improvement are all around us, but when we predominantly strengthen the vibration of what we perceive as adversity (through comments and thoughts about what we want changed), those opportunities cannot come into our awareness. Instead of directing our attention and focus toward ideas, circumstances and people that could facilitate the improvement we seek, many of us remain stuck in the adversity of our current experience.
This is why we tend to experience the same or similar unwanted circumstances, situations and people throughout the course of our lives.
How To Identify Opportunities And Make Them Work For You:
Focus on something in your life that evokes negative emotion, and take note of how that emotion feels physically in your body. Notice any tension or sick-like feelings.
Practice long, deep breathing while focusing on releasing the tension and/or ill feeling. With a calm mind and a relaxed body, you can begin to direct your focus toward that which needs improvement.
Once you are aware of which thought pattern evokes a particular emotion, imagine which thoughts around the same subject would feel better to you. From there, allow yourself to feel the emotion of the improved thoughts. That improved emotion sends out a brand new vibratory pattern which is a more accurate description of what you want.
When the improvement has been identified, all subsequent self-limiting thoughts around the adversity which gave rise to your preference for improvement are no longer necessary. Stay present with your thoughts, and continue to improve negative feelings by focusing on your preference for improvement.
When first learning this technique your subconscious mind will continue to offer the familiar thoughts that keep you focused on adverse conditions. Accept those thoughts, but realize they are projecting for the opposite of what you want, and offer thoughts that focus you back toward the desired improvement.
When we predominantly focus on how it will feel once we have what we want, we become exhilarated by the challenge being presented. In the state of exhilaration, information for the improvement we seek naturally becomes available.
As you continue from the vibration of that which you want, stay alert for opportunities, information, and people that come into your awareness. When the information matching your conscious vibration is received, your actions will feel inspired – almost as if you are taking no action at all.
Remember that many times we need only to change the way we are thinking about a particular subject in order to see improvement in our lives. Stay open to that possibility as well.
By minding our minds and managing our emotions, we promote joyful, abundant lives for ourselves and for those around us.
Raw Aged Meat
My husband loves to eat 100% grass-fed raw, aged red meat. He feels alive, healthy and highly energized from meat that has been thinly sliced (carpaccio style) and stored in a glass jar for at least 2 weeks.
The meat goes through a stage where it becomes brown and turns a bit stinky, but then it evolves further until its red color returns as vibrant as ever. When eaten, the meat has a nice robust flavor, without any offensive taste or odor.
Raw aged meat is both healthy and delicious because it contains Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB). LAB hinder spoilage and the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria, virus, yeast, fungus which can cause disease in unbalanced quantities), and contribute to healthy microflora (good bacteria) which is necessary for healthy mucosal surfaces (inner linings throughout the body).
Don’t try this with cooked meat – all of the bacteria and enzymes die, so that the cooked portion becomes fertile soil for the unbalanced growth of certain microorganisms – making it extremely dangerous to eat for obvious reasons.
Headache Relief
Each of the methods listed below addresses physical and/or energetic blockages which are the real cause of headaches. Try them, and see how they work for you!
1. Drinking naturally sparkling (no CO2 added) mineral water with lime juice and 1 tbl of unheated honey supplies the necessary enzymes, hydration, oxygen and alkalizing minerals to help your body eliminate the physical and energetic blockages that can cause headache. Also, be mindful of any food cravings, and eat the fresh, raw version of those foods.
2. Lie in a comfortable position and practice long deep breathing with focus on the breath until a very calm feeling comes over you. Then allow any thoughts that spontaneously come to mind and be present with them, just noticing what feelings come up. With each thought and feeling, gently remind yourself that all is well, and that you are free to release all tension around the thoughts that evoke any feeling of tension.
3. While sitting in a comfortable position, breathe with normal but somewhat forceful breath - in while bringing your shoulders up like shrugging, and out while letting your shoulders come down - Repeat 20-30 times. This can readjust the bones in the neck and head.
4. Accupressure is another method used to release blocked energy and restore balance to the body: With the middle or index finger and thumb of one hand, apply pressure to the area between the thumb and index finger of the other hand (see illustration). Apply various amounts of pressure to different points in this area until the pain is reduced to a more comfortable level. Using the same amount of pressure - use small, gentle circular movements on that point for 1-2 minutes, then release the pressure gradually.
When experiencing a headache that is the result of detoxification (such as after alcohol), supplying the body with drugs (including headache medicine) or toxic food/drink can alleviate the symptoms quickly. While this is great for temporarily getting back in the swing of things, this also creates more toxicity which may create more unhealthful symptoms in the future, and is thus not recommended for optimum health.
How to Practice Long Deep Breathing
This is a very relaxing and relieving breath technique:
- Relax the facial muscles - let all tension in the face release
- Keep the lips gently closed - all breathing will be through the nose
- Take a slow, deep breath through the nose so that your breath fills the bottom of your abdomen (near the pelvic floor first), and allow the breath to fill and expand the abdomen, then feel it move up the lower back as the muscles around the spine expand. From there, allow the breath to fill the chest from bottom to top, until the breath moves into the throat area.
- On the exhale, gently and slowly release the breath from the throat, chest, sides of the spine and abdomen.
- At the end of the exhale, contract the abdominal muscles in order to express all of the breath.
Throughout this way of breathing keep the breath long and light, with no pause (not holding the breath) at any time, even between the inhale and exhale.
Instinctual Eating
I can tell which foods are good for my body by imagining how they are going to feel both during and after I eat them. I want to predominantly enjoy foods that evoke feelings of calm and rejuvenation in my body and in my mind.
By following my likes instead of my dislikes and by giving into my cravings instead of ignoring them, I create a very positive relationship with food while also creating a more positive and joyful experience for myself and for the people I affect.
I am naturally attracted to whole food in its raw form, and I eat or drink as much as I need to feel satiated. I tend to focus more on one to three foods during any given time-frame, lasting from hours to several months.
For example - some days I could require a lot of raw milk, and then go for weeks without it. I could go several months eating 1-2 avocados per day, then have no desire for them for the next several months; I tend to eat extra fruit in the summertime; sometimes I eat a lot of soaked and dehydrated nuts; and when I was pregnant, I did not want chocolate much at all (which is not like me).
By choosing from primarily fresh, raw food and paying attention to my cravings and desires, I am instinctively giving my body and brain the nutrients necessary to achieve radiant health.
