Integrating the Perception of Spirit

It's a balanced blending of the two that leads to peaceful awareness and in turn the creation of a more peaceful reality. Specifically, when the mind does not approve of a situation being perceived, spirit can be invoked for acceptance of what is, and unbiased awareness of the egoic mental/emotional habit patterns at the root of the disturbing perception.
Repeatedly exposing unnecessary habits in this way causes their progressive dissolution, thereby allowing the material self to be a more authentic expression of spirit, a more sophisticated tool for Divine creativity, and a vessel for the experience of the unbounded Joy that represents our true essence.
Spirit is creating this material reality based on the energy offered by the balance of all thought. Persistent attention to emotion reveals whether our thoughts are commanding a reality that we would perceive as more peaceful or more conflicted.
Align yourself with Self, relax into the moment and command blessings for your experience and for the world.

Ego is Meant to be a Tool for Authentic Expression
“Ego” is the label “we” have given to the thinking process that allows “us” to (among other things) sense separate forms. All outward expression is also directed through ego - but consciously choosing thought can deliver individual awareness from living as the mechanical expression of ego to using ego as a tool to come Alive as a unique expression of the authentic self.
It’s not a matter of choosing or preferring the spiritual (authentic) self over the material (ego created) self. There is really no material self - that is only illusion - a tool for the spiritual self to experience and express in the material world.
To the extent the material self is expressive of the authentic self, the individual’s gifts and talents are expressed to their full potential, stress is eliminated, and individual effort becomes effortless.
For most people, their resistance to discussing the workings of ego is based in ego created fear that the material self may be viewed as “wrong”. But in reality, there is nothing right or wrong about what the ego expresses, and the self image cannot really be diminished in value irrespective of the thoughts believed or action taken.
Indeed, every individual is always doing the best they can to create as much Joy possible - based on the information and consciousness available to their perception at the time.
Love and honor the gift of the material self - and it effortlessly glorifies the “me” that is All. But believe that you are the material self, and attract thoughts that render the it a slave to ego programming. This is how it works irrespective of whether anyone pays attention to ego.
Only Thoughts Affect Joy
Only thoughts can affect anyone's experience of Joy. What's happening in the world is only a reflection of every thought that has gone before, but because the ego believes the illusion to be real, it offers thoughts that blame something in the reflection of our Past misalignment for the lack of Joy we are experiencing Now.
To the extent we believe these thoughts, we are creating further misalignment in the present moment, which will be reflected back again when the time is perfect for it to manifest in the world.
The media is instructive! It presents the opportunity to learn where we've already been with our thoughts, and we can use our perception and emotion to illuminate, forgive and transcend mental habit patterns that keep us bound to dis-ease. But as long as we keep buying into the idea that it's the world that needs to change, no matter how brilliant the ego, we are only playing a fool.
We Choose Thoughts, Not Action
The only choice we ever really have is whether or not to follow thoughts. Our words, actions, circumstances, situations, and experience of other people are all the choiceless expression of our present vibration, which is the culmination of all thought that came before.
Through individual awareness, in the present moment, we are orchestrating the evolution of our world. In order to navigate through the layers of mind that keep us bound to conflict, it helps to practice letting go of thoughts that produce unpleasant feelings.
By watching the mind as it offers thoughts, each of us has the ability to choose whether we want to believe them based on how each thought feels. And, the thoughts we choose to believe now can be released for ones that feel better at another point in time.
With practice, our hard wired beliefs eventually shift into patterns that offer more peaceful thoughts, and it does get easier. Let's keep going and amaze ourselves!
Personal Guidance
The way we perceive other people is a reflection of ourselves. Every personal encounter is guidance as to which direction to shift our focus for the refinement of our being. But when we direct our energy outward in attempt to make people happy, we are missing the point.
Nothing and nobody is an island. We are one. That's why the most important thing we can do for the All is to focus our energy on feeling Joyful as much as possible.
Ask the Knower
What some Christians call "checking with Jesus" is what I refer to as "giving it the feeling test". If our intent to spread healing energy is without attachment to outcomes or expectation of reciprocation, it feels Joyful.
If our intent does not feel Joyful, the work to be done is releasing self limiting beliefs before we try to offer any outward expression.
At the center of every person is The Christ, The Buddha or whatever label we use to describe the source of unlimited information. Personal thought energy is always received by our center, and our center always responds immediately with a resonant vibration in the form of feeling.
We embody the knower of all things. We have only to practice and develop our communication with Self in order to receive the information when we seek it.
Transformation and Discomfort
We wear patterns of emotional dissonance like shrouds that resist the Light of our consciousness and distort our perception of reality. This emotional "baggage" becomes part of our personality, and when we release it, we give birth to a new concept of self.
There is bound to be some discomfort and sorrow with this kind of transformation, but the reward, if we persevere, is a deeper understanding of Self - which means more clarity, creativity and Joy.
Mind is a Tool
The mind is our tool for Self expression in this material reality. Meditation is a practice that conditions the mind to be a servant to the Self.
The practice of awareness is meditation in action which not only gives us control over the direction of our thoughts and lives, but it further conditions the mind to serve our higher purpose.
The belief that anyone's behavior can disturb us is delusional. Our entire reality is in our perception, and we can only attract that which we project. So if we feel disturbed, it's our own energy that created the disturbance, and thoughts that emanate from a disturbed feeling can only create more of the same.
We can determine whether any belief is delusional based on how it feels. Our real Self is eternally Joyful, so if our thoughts feel less than Joyful, the underlying beliefs are delusional.
We are constantly subject to delusional thoughts because we are having a material experience which is entirely based in delusion. However, the consistent practice of awareness allows us to identify thoughts based in delusion, relax our tension, and redirect those thoughts toward Joy when we're ready.
