Mind: The False Master
The mind is commonly referred to as being owned by individuals. But it is actually shared between everything presently having a life experience.
The mind is the source of unlimited knowledge through energetic patterns of information about everything that is known, understood, or calculated during every material experience that has ever been and that ever will be. That information is accessed by our bodies and brains through cell receptors that act like antennas for the informational signals being broadcasted by the matching thought patterns of the mind.
Every subconscious habit and conscious thought is essentially downloaded by our cells from the mind, which is shared by everything in existence.
At physical birth the cells in our bodies and brain are already attuned to certain information created by those who have come before us. If we have had past lives (and most of us have), our cells are attuned to the mental patterns and behaviors that we developed over those lifetimes.
The parents to whom we are born and our ancestors’ experiences also determine which mental patterns will dominate our subconscious habits and our conscious thoughts. Throughout our lifetimes, our cells are further conditioned to be receptive to the mental information that matches what we have learned about our world during our present life experience.
What we refer to as “my mind” are those thought patterns that are personal to the individual including all physical and emotional memories, and how we identify our material self in relation to everything else. This information is integrated within the mind, and it is accessed by our brains as needed to direct our thoughts, words and actions during our lifetime.
While each of us is infused with pure Divine energy, the energetic relationship between our cellular receptors and the matching mental patterns are so powerful that most of us live almost entirely from the limited patterns of mind that keep us apart from experiencing our true Self. While it seems that we have free will, most of us are our thoughts and actions our predetermined by our biological programming.
While each person is created and sustained by a conscious energy that transcends mind, unless our awareness connects with that energy we live on autopilot - just repeating the same patterns in an unconscious or sleep-like manner. This is because the mental patterns to which we are attuned continuously offer thoughts, and when our spirit is not present, we automatically believe those thoughts.
In order to awaken to the real Self and become Alive in our lives, we must consciously realize that we don't have to believe what we think. Through meditative practice and bodily conditioning we can gradually move beyond our programming and retrain our cells to access information that is relevant to our true life purpose.
When our real Self is present, we can choose to disregard the limiting thought patterns that keep us from moving forward, and embrace those that advance us in the direction of our destiny.

Alone
There is a single supreme consciousness that projects through every person from an individual perspective. While there appear to be billions of "others" on Earth, they are all just different forms of the same Being.
That Being is the eternal creative force that is existence itself, and the One that is the core consciousness of everyone in existence.
From our egocentric perspective, we cannot help but be self centered because our awareness is specifically focused through a single body and brain. As individuals, everything we perceive, sense, feel and desire is according to how we see our material self in relation to everything else.
In our relationships with each other, the degree to which we have emotional love or hate for someone depends on how we see ourselves in them. But it is our own projection that draws every person into our experience.
Likewise, every event, circumstance, thing and even the condition of our planet is a reflection of what we are creating in the mind. While the individual creates their own reality according to their beliefs, all things, people and circumstances in the material world are a reflection of the predominant beliefs projected by the combined consciousness on Earth.
The mind does not belong to a single person, but is shared between all living things. It contains every belief and pattern of thought from the beginning of consciousness on Earth.
Each individual is tuned to specific patterns within the mind through receptors in our brains. As we go through life believing we are limited and separate, we reinforce the patterns created by those who were projected before us as we continue on the course that has been charted before our physical birth.
But since our essence transcends our brains and even the mind, we can change those patterns and create new, more favorable ones by focusing our awareness from the part of Self that is All. The creative force synchronizes everything in our shared reality to reflect peace, harmony, abundance, beauty and Love to the degree that we are projecting the pure essence of our true Self through our material form.
In order to create all of this in our reality, we have only to allow ourselves to be the expression of Unconditional Love as we perceive everything in our experience. Since each person is really Alone, we don't have to concern ourselves with what any person is doing or what they are thinking because our individual expression is dependent only on our individual connection to Self.
There is no other. Be the true You and glorify the only One that endures forever.
You Are the Universe
Everything is created for our experience in the eternal expansion of cosmic consciousness. To hate anyone is actually hating ourselves because those people in our experience are only a reflection of the part of ourselves that we are trying to repress.
While each person is unique in their own individual way, our bodies and minds are intricately connected extensions of the single energetic Being that is existence itself. As we direct our minds from the conscious perspective of our source, our inner conflict turns to harmony, and we notice more harmonious people, events and circumstances in our lives and in the world.
Independent
Most of us have an egocentric idea of how to be independent. Our conditioning has caused us to believe that in order to be independently successful, we can depend ONLY upon the strength of our own will.
This notion cultivates fear that we may be perceived as weak and unsuccessful if we find the need to seek the support of another person or people. Where there is fear, there is always judgment – thus when we are stuck in this mindset we tend to judge anyone who seeks support from other people as unworthy of success. Judgment attracts more fear, and the cycle of judgment and fear continues until they eventually occupy the vast majority of our thought patterns.
In reality, we are all independent because the individual creates everything in his or her own reality. If there are people supporting us or hindering us, we attracted them by the thoughts we chose to follow in this or a previous lifetime. Feeling dependent upon anything or anyone for our well being is based in the fear inherent from perceiving reality in the delusion of separation from the Universe and everything else.
That feeling prevents us from realizing our own power - which keeps us apart from what we really want to create for our lives. If we find ourselves feeling needy or clinging to any person, people, or set of circumstances we are most certainly being led by our very limited ego self and not our real powerful Self.
There will always be an unlimited supply of people to love and support us. When we trust that we have the power to consistently attract the right person at the right time, we can release the perceived control that we exert in trying to keep particular people in our lives, making them behave in particular ways, or manipulating them into bestowing certain benefits upon us.
Moreover, we can release the pressure we put upon ourselves about how and when we are going to make anything happen through our actions. Our power is our energy, and when we focus our thoughts on what we want to create, we attract people who are willing and able to facilitate our creative process.
Through attention to how we are feeling, we can discipline ourselves to feel the powerful nature of our true Self, and from that perspective our creation glorifies ourselves and everything else. Dependence feels like powerlessness, and by shifting our thoughts to what’s true within us, we can harness the power of our creativity.
When we become more independently and joyfully focused, it’s easy to see and understand what actions are being “asked” of us, and which personal relationships are in our best interest to maintain. By releasing the habit of clinging to anyone or anything, all people and things can flow easily into and out of our experience with the precise timing that best serves our purpose.
Darkness in Balance
Darkness only exists where light is not present. Light illuminates everything that it touches, and eliminates darkness by its very presence - without fight or struggle.
With respect to hidden emotions, darkness is anything that has not been observed by individual awareness. But since emotions are what inspire expansion and guide us toward it, just having life experiences creates more dark shadows to be illuminated by our presence.
In the perspective of Yin Yang (balance), when we are not present in our lives, the shadows of darkness proliferate and create imbalance. But there is no danger of too much Light because new shadows are constantly being created as a necessary component of the ever-expansive nature of the Universe.
Enjoy the darkness. It gives meaning to the Light.
Emotional Freedom
Emotions alter the human expression of our true essence. The human being is created and sustained in pure Love, and expressed in the world through the filter of mind, memories and emotion.
When certain past experiences are attached to uncomfortable or painful emotions, the nature of our ego is to protect us by attempting to hide those memories from our consciousness while avoiding similar experiences. When the ego believes any present experience to be associated with an offending memory, it systematically triggers our feeling of the attached emotion to alert us of possible impending danger.
Over the course of many years, we accumulate so many of these hidden memories with attached emotions that our predominant expression tends to come from emotion and not our true nature. In this way, the subconscious mind dominates as the creator of our thoughts, words, actions and the course of our lives.
Although expression through an emotion is “normal” everyday living for the majority of people, this is not a necessary thing. Each of us has the power to heal these emotions and live freely from our true essence.
Through the practice of being present and aware of our thoughts and emotions, we can determine when we are being controlled by an unwanted emotion and resolve it. Specifically, when we feel that something is not “right”, pain, discomfort or tension in the mind or body, it is evidence that we are in the grip of emotion.
With calm awareness and deep breath, attention can be directed to the thoughts that were entertained just before the feeling was noticed. Calm awareness means releasing thoughts that take us on an emotional journey while consciously witnessing what is being brought up by the mind.
With the mind’s eye, look with acceptance on the thoughts being presented and any memories which present themselves as the source of those thoughts. Stay focused on the breath as the thoughts, emotions and memories are exposed, and remind yourself that you are not bound by any of these – but you are free in each moment to be new, completely innocent and open to any of the unlimited possibilities.
When exposed to the light of our consciousness in this way, hidden emotions are gradually and gracefully released. While the previously offending memories can still be recalled, their emotional charge will eventually be dissolved through this practice.
There is no “right” or “wrong” to this, and judgment of our abilities in this regard only hinders transformation. The key is to remind yourself to remember to accept every part of you and keep returning to the practice of awareness.
You are the real You and not the accumulation of your memories. Through the practice of awareness, your real Self can be expressed as the creator of your reality and the healer of your emotions, your life, entire nations, and ultimately the world.
Desireless Effort
The idea that we have to “work hard” to attain nice things, fine food or future security is a conditioned belief that keeps us from experiencing the subtle richness that gives true meaning to life. The work we do now can never guarantee anything for the future, and if we’re not enjoying life Now, we’re wasting the only time that ever really exists.
Burying ourselves in work or a career gives credence to the ego self which seeks to create stability by controlling the future through our efforts. However, our desires in the material world have NO purpose except to serve the desires of our Being - which seeks expansion of conscious experience.
The purpose of worldly desires is not to compel human effort chasing and achieving them, but to provide creative inspiration to our higher consciousness. While material desires can lead to fulfillment of our higher purpose, we have only to honor those desires without attachment or resistance to them.
Efforts that are NOT attached to the achievement of any physical or material desires are a reward of themselves because they serve the One that endures forever. In this way, our material desires are effortlessly manifested to the extent that they serve our Beingness, and our awareness in the present is not wasted through our attempts to achieve for a future that never exists.
The ego has a strong will and the ability to drive our physical efforts in the direction of any desires we choose. But in order to move in the direction of our true desires, the ego self must be trained to serve the conscious One.
This training is not easy, but it’s magnificent, and our efforts in this regard continue to pay dividends in this lifetime and beyond.
Here’s the process:
- Practice being aware of all thoughts running through the mind
- Notice which thoughts attach you to any desire in the material world
- Appreciate your desires (it means you are alive!), but honor your higher Self by releasing the intent to control any manifestation of them
- Stay present and alert to your emotional state to determine which efforts in the Now moment honor the true You. If your efforts feel rewarding in and of themselves, you are moving in the intended direction. However, if your efforts feel agitated, stressful or worthless without some future reward, you are acting from ignorance.
- There is no need to immediately stop what you are doing or make sudden changes. Just become conscious of what you are doing and what purpose you are serving. Change will come as an obvious next step through this practice.
- Through awareness, recognize and release all thoughts of fear, worry, stress or anything that leads to an uncomfortable feeling because wallowing in these thoughts strengthens the ego’s need for control and can never serve the real You. Any time you notice a feeling of discomfort or pain, practice Long Deep Breathing for as long as it takes to feel calm.
- As you continue releasing self limiting thoughts and the ego’s tendency to control the future, you will be more open to new information and you will come to notice more clues in your environment that lead you in the direction of higher achievement.
- Remember to remember that You are eternal, and not the self image that you have created for this life experience.
Yoga with meditation is an essential tool for this process because it trains the mind to be in the present moment and both body and mind to follow your higher purpose. It also works on all systems to ensure that you are receptive to the guidance always being given by your higher Self.
I also recommend including raw food with plenty of raw fat in your diet to facilitate the elimination of toxic substances that may impede your efforts.
