Curing a Bi-Polar Life

Our reality consists of polarities – everything contains its opposite. But we are more than mere passengers on the ride of life. Whether we know it or not, we are creating our reality with every thought.

When we pay attention to things in our lives that provoke extreme emotion, we attract more extremes in our lives. By habitually shifting our attention to those things in our lives that evoke joy, and toward our perspectives for creating more joy, we can control our emotions and thereby diffuse the extremes in our minds and in our lives.

We Are All Worthy

Doorway to HeavenWe are one with God and one with love.  We were not put on Earth by a separate spiritual entity to prove our worthiness through worship and enduring hardships.

As conscious parts of the same divine spirit, our awareness is focused here to experience joy, put forth our perspective for even greater joy, and to realize peace aka heaven right here on Earth.  The most common religious belief systems hold that we are separate from God, a  chosen messiah, each other, and The Devil.

In fact, most religious groups promote the opposite of peace through the belief that their members are closer to God than the “other” groups, belief systems and religions.  This righteousness causes us to look down on those who do not believe like us, or try to convert them to our way of thinking in order to “save” them.

The common belief system taught by religious groups serves those groups and ensures more power for them, but does very little to promote peace because it is fear based.  God is available to all of us and can be felt whenever we let go of self limiting beliefs. Those self limiting beliefs are truly “The Devil” because they create a feeling of separation from God, which is synonymous with love, each other and everything.

In this way, The Devil is not so much an evil entity or an entity at all.  It is the feeling created when we believe thoughts that do not agree with the true essence of our being.  From that feeling we create a life experience that falls short of the joy we were meant to realize through our physically focused senses.

Unwanted life circumstances are a culmination of our own limiting beliefs, and basically the manifestation of “evil”.  However, “The Devil” and “evil” should not have a negative connotation – they are simply instructive as to the proximity of our thoughts to the true essence of our being.

No matter how much or how many times we believe thoughts that evoke “The Devil” within us or unwanted events in our lives, the core of our being is always pure love, and because of this - each of us is always equally worthy of the kingdom of heaven.

Releasing Struggle

Adversity will always exist for the continuous expansion of our being.  We cannot change this reality, nor do we want to.   For without adversity, there would be no reason for our existence in this experience we call life.

Struggle means to employ strenuous or violent efforts in response to adversity; and it is experienced when we use will to control the outcome of a situation or circumstance.

During a challenging experience or uneasy thought pattern, it is human nature to feel fear, stress, dread, etc. Many of us believe that our own struggle is necessary in order to conquer a situation or achieve a goal; and we balk at the idea that life is supposed to be easy.

In reality, struggle is an emotion which interferes with problem solving skills, burdens our bodies and minds, and attracts more situations that gave birth to that feeling.

When we attach ourselves to expected outcomes in order to justify our efforts, or we imagine possible scenarios, we create struggle within ourselves because we have no real control over the outcome of anything.  The feeling of struggle distracts our focus, and often causes the most efficient solutions to be overlooked.

Moreover, the laws of the universe are straightforward and do not deviate – like attracts like.  This means that by struggling through any situation or toward any goal, we are attracting more situations that give rise to struggle.

Likewise, if we offer a calm, confident, trusting and optimistic vibration during a challenge or test, we are more open to a solution, we feel better, and we attract better experiences into our awareness.   The more often we seek joy in the moment, the more opportunity for joy we will create.

We have the power to release struggle by tuning our feelings to the vibration of that which we want.

Letting it Go:

Releasing struggle begins with evaluation and acceptance of our current emotional set point - noticing the state of our emotions while staying calm and comfortable with what feelings we have.  There is no need to judge our emotions as being good or bad, they are simply an indicator of where we are, like a road sign letting us know how far off we are from our ideal point of focus.

The most effective method to assess and transform our emotions is through deep breathing.  This is because every feeling is attached to a specific breath pattern. The further our current emotion is from our alignment with joy, the shallower our breathing becomes.  This also works the other way around, meaning that when we slow and deepen our breath, we improve our emotion.

Through focused attention and deep breath, we can offer a thought and/or decide to engage in an activity that makes us feel a little bit better than our current emotion.  We don’t have to make huge emotional leaps; it only takes small emotional shifts to gradually raise our vibration.

When we consistently aim to squeeze as much joy out of every moment, we consistently think and act toward that directive.   If we make it a priority to follow our joy as much as possible, struggle will fall away as old baggage which we no longer require.

The more often we can be present in our experiences with a calm mind and deep breath, the more struggle can be replaced with emotions that more accurately reflect our real selves.

An End to War

Wanna rid the world of war? Yeah! Who doesn’t?

Do you know anyone who ENJOYS war? Well, perhaps there may be a few, but they are very, very rare.

Anyway, my point is that the reason we are living in this reality is for the experience of our true Self. More specifically, the essence of our Being is energetically expressed through minds and bodies, so that we may experience a conscious field of awareness in this material environment.

No field of awareness is separate from the one Divine being which is the Universe aka God aka Source, and when we experience that awareness through our bodies and minds, we open ourselves to all information and emanate peace from our very presence in the world.

If each of us consciously allowed the expression of our true essence, there would be no need for war because there would be no extreme conflict. This is because conflict can only be created when our true nature is shrouded by fear, worry, anxiety, dread and/or any other emotion that causes any vibration that is dissonant to that of the Divine.

This is an enlightening realization because it means that we have the power to create peace in our own homes, in our neighborhoods, in our communities, and even in our world.

We can consciously choose to emanate more of our essence by staying aware of how we are feeling and consistently choosing thoughts that raise our vibration - or feel better from our individual perspective.  Through practice, our vibrational set point will continue to rise, and we will experience more peace of mind as we evolve the world toward the peaceful existence that is our birthright.
