What is Satsang?
Satsanga, Satsangam, Satsang (Sanskrit सत्सङ्ग sat = true, sanga = company) in Indian philosophy means (1) the company of the "highest truth," (2) the company of a guru, or (3) company with an assembly of persons who listen to, talk about, and assimilate the truth. This typically involves listening to or reading scriptures, reflecting on, discussing and assimilating their meaning, meditating on the source of these words, and bringing their meaning into one’s daily life. Contemporary spiritual teachers in the West frequently come from the East but can come from any part of the world.
From Tigmonk's Perspective
Satsang, is a group of individuals who, together, quietly investigate into the Nature of Self & Reality; it is an opportunity to explore a deeper Sincerity into this experience we call Life, Living, & Being. Satsang, is not entertainment for the ego; it is the Fire that burns away a problematic ego so that the nature of your most Sincere Self might Bloom with colors yet to be seen.
Who is Tigmonk?
Tigmonk is a 31 year old Modern Day Mystic. His greatest joy is in sharing meaningful Insight & Wisdom with small groups of Sincere Individuals who seek a Sacred Truth. His Teachings go beyond mere intellect, and reach deep into the Heart; making it quite clear that real liberation from suffering & conflict, is a journey that begins and ends with our most Sincere Self.
He considers this unfolding to be an Explosion of Love, or a Blooming of the Heart, a natural occurrence that stems from a genuine desire to know what is True about the nature of Self & Reality. He offers this warning to those who dare enter this space of exploration: "I am here to peak inside the dream and set fire to the illusion of you, so that You might see clearly the nature of the Infinite You."
Tigmonk is the author of 2 books, "An Explosion of Love" & "Intimacy with the Silent Nothing that is Everything"
What was Tigmonk's Awakening Experience?
This he finds to be rather quite irrelevant, as it tends to only create more stories of separation as to why you (or the self), are/is not yet "there." His path that has led to this deep seeing of Truth, is a path he counts to be very normal and natural, without the common fanfare that is usually attributed to 'awakening'. His goal isn't to change people, or to give them something they are currently without. His intent, is simply to sit with the open hearted and expose the internal barriers that tend to keep the Self from seeing their own divinity, as they are right now.
